Seaside Rescue is the third in the popular Doctor Lottie series, following No Time for Tea and Snow Dogs Allowed.
These books are written and produced by a family of parents and grandparents who were struggling to find books with good female adult role models for their children. So they produced their own, featuring Lottie, a kind, busy doctor and working mum. The design was by Yote Design, based on original illustrations by Pat Dittner.
